PORT OF FIGUEIRA DA FOZ
Description
The Port of Figueira da Foz is located in the district of Coimbra, with the central region of Portugal and Spain (Castilla y Léon) as its natural hinterland. It is integrated in the Portuguese Iberian corridor of the Trans European network of transports. The main infrastructures of this corridor are mutually complementary. It is a port focused mainly on the short sea shipping of the Atlantic Portuguese coast. It has road, a railway access and it has regular maritime links to Morocco, France, United Kingdom, Holland and Germany.
